3D Printing

Given our positive experience and proven expertise in 3D CAD and solid/surface modeling, the next logical step in the evolution of Studio Zwaard was to integrate 3D printing services directly into our workflow.

Studio Zwaard uses a Zortrax M200 printer, which works through Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. FDM printers build solid objects layer by layer by heating, melting, and extruding thermoplastic filament. Each layer is precisely laid from the bottom up in order to produce high-resolution prints with a minimum layer thickness of 0.09mm.
